Abstract: This volume presents the results of a wide range of studies on core from the CIROS-1 drillhole. The drilling of CIROS-1 is the most recent of a number of attempts to date the beginnings of the Antarctic Cenozoic glaciation and chart its early history by coring strata in the Ross Sea sector of Antarctica.(auth)
