Blick, G.H. 1974 St. James site report (Clarence fault). Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 11 22 p.

Abstract: Following a series of earthquakes in the Molesworth area in April 1973 (E.D.S. 10), a survey pattern was installed and surveyed in June, 1973 across the Clarence Fault. This site forms part of a developing network set up to monitor vertical and horizontal secular deformation throughout New Zealand's active belt. After the second survey, due to be made within six months of the initial survey, the pattern will be resurveyed every three to five years unless abnormal deformation is found, in which case the interval between surveys would be decreased.
