Abstract: The Pancake Rocks are a natural phenomenon located in Paparoa National Park on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. These strangely layered rocks, and the spectacular tidal blowholes also found here, can be seen from a walkway that begins at Punakaiki and loops around Dolomite Point. (auth)
