Cowan, M. 1964 New Zealand gravity stations for international use. [s.l.]: [s.n.]. Report / Geophysics Division 38 17p

Abstract: Since the completion of the New Zealand Primary Gravity Network, gravity base stations are established at the airports of the main New Zealand cities. These stations have been occupied frequently by geophysicists on route to Antarctica, the Pacific Islands and Australia. Various values have been quoted and some changes have been necessary in sites. These have been recorded and an analysis made of the data. The links with pendulum stations and convenient Primary Gravity Network stations and details of these stations and their present condition and accessibility are also listed (auth)
