Cousins, W.J.; McVerry, G.H. 1997 Peak accelerations, velocities and displacement from New Zealand earthquake accelerograms. Lower Hutt: Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences. Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences science report 97/10 62 p.
Abstract: Strong-motion earthquake recording has been carried out in New Zealand for more than 30 years. During that time a network of 238 accelerographs has been established and to date has yielded more than 3500 accelerograms. Those that are strong enough to be of engineering significance, 550, have been computer processed. Peak accelerations, velocities and displacements for the processed records are listed along with earthquake source information and epicentral distances. The peak motion data are available in digital format. (auths)
