Eberhart-Phillips, D.; Bannister, S.C. 2002 Awatere fault zone passive seismic study, July 2001 - January 2002 . Lower Hutt: Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences. Institute of Geological & Nuclear Sciences science report 2002/20 20 p.

Abstract: A passive array of short-period and broadband seismometers was placed over the Awatere fault in the northern South Island, between July 2001 and January 2002. The purpose of the array was to record fault zone trapped waves from local earthquakes, in order to derive information about physical properties of the fault zone. In this report we describe the array deployment, the initial data processing involving event extraction, and the data archives. (auth)
