Abstract: As a result of a lithological, geophysical and biostratigraphic study from 8 wells in the Kupe area, the stratigraphic framework for the upper Haumurian (Upper Cretaceous)-Opoitian (Lower Pliocene) siliciclastic succession in the Kupe Field is revised and a new chrono- and lithostratigraphic database for the geological correlation with Petrel software is created. This report describes the data and methods for establishing the stratigraphic database in the Kupe Field and shows its applications in terms of well correlations and seismic-to-well ties. (auth)
