Palmer, N.G. 2009 Kinematics of the New Zealand plate boundary : field report on GPS survey of the Arthur's Pass network 2006 (AP2006). Lower Hutt, N.Z.: GNS Science. GNS Science report 2009/51 15 p.

Abstract: In February 2002 a subset of the Arthur’s Pass GPS network was observed and seven additional survey stations were installed and observed for the first time with a view to resolving tectonic questions in the area. A second occupation of the newly installed stations was completed during the Top of the South GPS campaign in February 2004. In February 2006, during a survey of First Order 2000 survey stations in the same vicinity, it was decided that it would be timely and expedient to reoccupy the above recently installed Arthur’s Pass campaign sites for a third time simultaneously. This report documents the Arthur’s Pass survey (AP2006) carried out between 24 February and 1 March 2006. It describes the logistics of the campaign, the stations occupied and the data collected.
