By clicking the “accept” button at the foot of these terms and conditions you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions in respect of your use of the Web Shop and the purchase of the publications you have selected in your order (the Publications).
Earth Sciences NZ retains title to all intellectual property rights in the Publications, including copyright and trademarks.
You may print or download the Publications you have selected in your order and (where applicable) have paid for, and you may use the Publications for your own research, informational or scholarly use.
You may not remove or cover any proprietary notices placed on the Publications by GNS Science.
All products available via the Earth Sciences NZ Online Shop are licenced under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International unless otherwise specified.
Any download of the Publications is done at your own risk and you are solely responsible for any loss or damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from the download. You will not do anything that may interfere with the proper functioning of the Web Shop.
Earth Sciences NZ uses the services of payment gateway to process the e commerce (credit card) payments made for the Publications. Earth Sciences NZ does not hold any credit card details and will not be liable for any damages or loss suffered due to the payment method or from the processing of payments.
For products with a charge all prices are in NZ$.
All sales are generally final as we do not allow cancellations.
Although Earth Sciences NZ has made all reasonable endeavours to ensure the quality of the Publications, their use is at your sole responsibility and risk and they are provided without warranties or representations of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Earth Sciences NZ excludes and shall have no liability for any loss, damage or expense (including loss of profits, opportunity or other economic loss, or for any consequential or exemplary damages) however caused, whether through its negligence or otherwise, resulting from you or any other person, company or organisation using or relying on the Publications, or any authorised derivatives.
Where the Products are obtained for business purposes the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.

These terms of use are governed by New Zealand law.
References to “you” in these terms include the organisation for whom you acquiring the Publications.
These terms replace any disclaimers or agreements made elsewhere on the GNS Science website (www.gns.cri.nz)
Privacy Statement The personal information collected by registration will be used only by Earth Sciences NZ for the following:
o Statistical data for reporting to Earth Sciences NZ Board, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
o Statistical analysis to identify areas of future research direction.
o To advise you of changes and updates to Publications.
Earth Sciences NZ will hold securely and not pass on any personal information to any third party in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993.
The payment gateway may also collect personal information, and you should refer to their privacy policy for details.
Shipping Usually, we ship the products within 1 to 3 days after your order is placed.
