Williams, R.O. 1989 Horizontal angle survey data, 1949-1954, acquired for studies of contemporary deformation of the Taupo Fault Belt. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 122 14 p.\

Abstract: As part of a programme of geodetic studies of the Taupo Fault Belt, horizontal angle data for an area covering approximately 2000 square kilometres of the central North Island have been assembled onto computer. In addition, 280 geodetic stations have been catalogued. The data were observed by the Department of Lands and Survey between 1949 and 1954. Their overall directional precision, estimated from variation of coordinates computation, is 1.3". (auth)
