Blick, G.H.; Wood, P.R.; Williams, R.O. 1983 Surveying equipment and procedures for earth deformation studies: angular observations. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 90 17 p.
Abstract: Horizontal angle observations are made by the Earth Deformation Section, New Zealand Geological Survey to monitor crustal deformation at selected sites throughout New Zealand. Instruments used to make these observations are Wild T3 and Kern DKM3 theodolites observing to a variety of targets. This report describes: (a) the equipment used, (b) horizontal angle observing procedures and specifications, and (c) vertical angle observing procedures and specifications. The equipment and procedures described are those being used as at December 1983. (auths)
