Riddolls, B.W. 1974 Stability of a proposed cut slope near Horoeka Street, Stokes Valley. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EG 177 2 p.

Abstract: The Wellington Regional Housing Trust intends developing the area of hillside near the south-eastern end of Horoeka Street (684 chns N917 chns E 'Mt Cook' datum). The proposals for the subdivision include a cut slope 20 m high at 0.5:1 (63 degrees), extending over a distance of 170 m. Most of the cut slope will be aligned north-south, except towards the southern part where a north-easterly alignment is planned over a distance of some 30 m. (auth)
