Abstract: This report is a comprehensive guide to the entry of data on to Fossil Record Forms, and is a revision, under one cover, of information in Scott (1970) and Warren and Scott (1972). Any concern felt by established users of the N.Z. Fossil Record File that this edition of the manual alters the ground rules for form-filling can be allayed at the outset. There are no significant changes.
