Abstract: This report, a compilation of information held in the Auckland District Office of the NZ Geological Survey, includes both hot and cold mineral springs in the area from North Cape to Tauranga Harbour and Taumarunui. Also included are 10 springs in the Auckland - South Auckland area which are of interest because they have been, or are in a few cases are still being used for town water supplies.
