Abstract: Results are given of magnetic observations made in August-September 1953 at the International Repeat Stations established in 1952 at Nandi, Fiji and at Rarotonga. The instruments were also compared at Apia. At the International Repeat Stations D, H, I and Z were measured and for the first time diurnal variations were determined in D, H, and Z, using a QHM and a BMZ. (auth)
