Abstract: The Kiernans Creek Fault Monitoring Pattern on the Wairau Fault was installed and modified from an alignment to a braced quadrilateral by Otago University (Mackie 1962, 1967). It forms part of a New Zealand network to monitor earth deformation. A full description of this site and pattern is given in EDS report 66.
