Blick, G.H. 1981 Grey River survey report 1980 (Awatere fault). Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 77 10 p.

Abstract: The original pattern at the Grey River site consisted of an alignment of four benchmarks installed in 1930 by J.D. Clapperton of the Lands and Survey Department. In 1939 two additional benchmarks were added to the levelling run. J.B. Mackie from Otago University installed the horizontal pattern in August 1961 which consisted of an alignment of four points. Two additional marks were added by Mackie in 1965 to form a braced quadrilateral. Prior to 1980 two additional benchmarks were installed by EDS / NZGS. A full description of the site and pattern is described in the site report (Blick and Moss, 1981) (auth)
