Abstract: The Ministry of Works and Development has asked for Geological advice on the siting of a gas turbine power station near Stratford. A preliminary report was prepared by the writer on 30 April, 1974. This report is based on a field inspection by the writer and Mr P.R. Moore, and a study of drill cores and penetrometer logs. (auth)
