Abstract: As part of the Ohau A Power Project (Layout on Sheet 1), the Ohau Canal, which has a maximum capacity of 170m/sup3/ /sec, will take water from Lake Ohau to Ohau A Powerhouse. At the time of writing, only a preliminary site for the canal inlet structure has been given, and this is shown in sheet 1. The position of the canal centreline has been taken from a MWD Telex (Brickell, 1974) and the layout of the structure from MWD drawing P2090. An aerial view of the site area is given in the photograph on page 2. (auth)
