Abstract: This map is a compilation of low-level aeromagnetic surveys that shows total force magnetic anomalies with a contour interval of 100 nT for the Coromandel Peninsula and 10 nT for Great Barrier Island. For each of the surveys, the magnetic anomalies shown are those calculated at the time of data acquisition. Different normal fields were used at the time of data acquisition, a constant has been added to the data from each survey to match the mean amplitudes with those of the adjacent surveys. (auth)
