Abstract: Two maps are presented. The first shows absolute total-force values over mid-New Zealand with local anomalies eliminated. The second shows total-force regional anomalies over the same area obtained by removing the main geomagnetic field from the first map. The regional anomalies so disclosed are discussed briefly.
