Abstract: New Zealand is located astride an active subduction zone and could potentially be impacted by severe, tsunami generating earthquake events. This Wellington based scoping exercise developed communication resources and used a citizen science approach to log evacuation times and routes during tsunami evacuation exercises at schools in the Wellington harbour, New Zealand.
