Abstract: Seismic refraction and gravity profiles were surveyed as part of the Pauatahanui Environmental Programme. In the Pauatahanui area, a buried valley was detected, 96 m below ground level, running westwards towards the southern shore of the Pauatahanui Inlet. In the Judgeford area, a fault-angle depression was mapped. The fault strikes at 060 deg T, and extends along the Moonshine-Bulls Run road, and so appears to be part of the Moonshine Fault
