Abstract: Maps showing contours of the scale correction and of the two components of the bearing correction for the New Zealand Map Grid Projection can be prepared in order to allow the surveyor to graphically interpolate these corrections and so compute his/her local surveys in the projection. Examples are given of maps of scale and bearing corrections at a scale of 1:500 000 for Northland and Canterbury. (auth)
