Mordret, A. 2009 Xcorr-monitoring : software to compute relative seismic velocity variations using interferometry on retrieved Green's Function from ambient seismic noise. Lower Hutt, N.Z.: GNS Science. GNS Science report 2009/05 6 p.

Abstract: The xcorr-monitoring software was written to automatically process in quasi real time continuous seismic data recorded on Mt Ruapehu seismic network. The aim of this work was to implement a new monitoring/forecasting tool for Ruapehu’s eruptions. The principle was to continuously monitor the seismic velocity variations inside the edifice, expecting that a strong drop of seismic velocity was a good eruption precursor. (auth)
