Williams, R.O. 1987 The June 1986 survey of the north Taupo regional monitoring pattern. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 111 88 p.
Abstract: The North Taupo regional monitoring pattern was surveyed in June 1986. Survey observations comprised 147 horizontal directions, 105 vertical angles, 2 astronomical azimuths, and 108 electronically measured distances. Following their reduction, the majority of the observations were tested by a least squares computation of coordinates. Almost all the observations were considered to be acceptable; only two, a vertical angle and a distance, being found to be spurious. Standard errors are estimated to be approximately 3.5"/set for direction observations, 5" for vertical angle observations, and =/- 3mm =/- 1 ppm for distance measurements (auth)
