Blick, G.H. 1990 Survey data from 1989 survey of the Dunstan fault monitoring pattern. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 126 41 p.
Abstract: The Dunstan fault monitoring pattern was surveyed in November 1989 by New Zealand Geological Survey and Works Development Services Corporation (NZ) Ltd. Horizontal directions were observed using Wild T3 and Wild T2000S theodolites and distances using a Wild Distomat D120. This was the fifth survey of the network in a series initiated in 1981 to monitor contemporary earth deformation about the Dunstan fault zone. All observations were tested using a least squares variation of coordinates computation and three spurious distance observations were identified and rejected. The standard errors of the data were computed using an assumed observational error of 3.5''/set for direction observations and 1.9mm + 1.6ppm for distance measurements.
