Blick, G.H. 1989 Survey data from the 1989 triangulation survey across the Rangitaiki Plains. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 124 31 p.
Abstract: The Department of Survey and Land Information triangulation network spanning the Rangitaiki Plains was surveyed following the 1987 Edgecumbe earthquake. The network was resurveyed in May/June 1989 to determine the amount of postseismic deformation since the earthquake. Horizontal angle, vertical angle, Geodimeter Model 8 distances, and Wild Distomat D120 distances were observed. All reduced observations were tested using a least squares variation of coordinates computation. The standard errors of the horizontal directions were also computed. This report presents the observations and survey results from the May/June resurvey. (auth/KN)
