Blick, G.H.; Otway, P.M.; Scott, B.J.; Williams, R.O. 1987 Survey data from vertical monitoring across the Edgecumbe fault trace, March - June 1987. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 117 17 p.
Abstract: Following the 2 March 1987 Edgecumbe earthquake, two small-aperture fault monitoring patterns were established across the Edgecumbe Fault Trace to monitor postseismic deformation. Eighteen level surveys of the networks have been made up to 5 June 1987. The levelling data show that local ground deformation, in the same sense as that which occurred during the earthquake, has continued, varying approximately logarithmically with time. The standard errors of the levelling data are assessed at approximately 1mm Dist (km)
