Blick, G.H.; Wood, P.R.; Flaherty, M.P. 1988 Data from regional vertical monitoring following the 2 March, 1987, Edgecumbe earthquake. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 120 22 p.

Abstract: The region of the Edgecumbe earthquake of 2 March 1987, the Rangitaiki Plains, has been extensively precise levelled since 1950. Following the earthquake, relevelling was observed to determine the extent and magnitude of regional vertical deformation. In addition, a new route was installed and surveyed to extend height control. The levelling data, which has been used to determine height changes associated with the earthquake, are presented.
