Abstract: Following the 2 March Edgecumbe earthquake, six small aperture survey networks were established across fault traces formed by the earthquake. Three networks, (Awaiti, Edgecumbe and Te Teko) were installed a week after the earthquake and surveyed at regular intervals to monitor possible postseismic vertical deformation. The levelling data from these networks shows that deformation has continued since the earthquake. The standard error of the levelling data is assessed at approximately 1mm Dist (km). (auth)
