Blick, G.H.; Crook, C.N. 1985 The March 1985 survey of the Dunstan Fault monitoring pattern. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. New Zealand Geological Survey report EDS 98 41 p.
Abstract: The Dunstan fault monitoring pattern was surveyed in March 1985 by trilateration using a Wild DI20 electromagnetic distance measuring equipment, and by triangulation using a Wild T3 theodolite. This constituted the fourth in a series of surveys initiated in 1981 to monitor surface deformation around the Dunstan fault zone. Although a least squares computation of coordinates does not show any measurements to be spurious, the distribution of residuals indicates that some systematic effects may exist in the distant measurements. Standard errors are estimated to be +/-0.8'' for direction observations, and +/- 0.8mm +/_1.6 ppm for distance measurements. (auths)
