Spoerli, K.B.; Takemura, A.; Hori, R.S. (eds) 2007 The oceanic Permian/Triassic boundary sequence at Arrow Rocks (Oruatemanu), Northland, New Zealand. Lower Hutt: GNS Science. GNS Science monograph 24 229 p.

Abstract: This monograph is the result of a decade-long collaboration between New Zealand and Japanese scientists who have uncovered a remarkable succession of superbly exposed ocean sedimentary rocks at Arrow Rocks (Oruatemanu Island) in eastern Whangaroa Bay, Northland, New Zealand. Radiolaria and conodonts show that the succession extends from Middle Permian to Middle Triassic times and spans the Permian/Triassic boundary. (auth)
