Hunt, J.L. 1969 Some instrumental methods of analysis in petrology. Lower Hutt: New Zealand Geological Survey. Report NZGS 39 21 p.
Abstract: Some of the more important instrumental techniques currently used in petrology laboratories are outlined. More emphasis has been placed on details of sample preparation and practical application of the methods than on the technical aspects of operation and interpretation of results. The methods described lie and often overlap within the electromagnetic spectrum. (auth/ARC)
