Abstract: he Porangahau strain monitoring pattern (SMP) was installed in March 1979. It forms part of a network throughout New Zealand designed to monitor horizontal and vertical deformation. Since installation, five surveys have been carried out by EDS / NZGS. The purpose of this report is to present details of the methods of surveying and the results achieved in those surveys.
